Housing Life Cycle By:
Connor Yonak

College Dorm at the U of M
This is a dorm at the U of M which has 1 room and 1 bath. The kitchen is shared with 4 other rooms but all together it works nice. This is a nice place to life while going to school and it fits my needs at age 18 by being close to college and being cheap. This dorm fits most of my physical and emotional needs but misses some of the smaller needs like privacy and storage.

Young Adult
Apartment in Monticello
After College I will be moving into an apartment in Monticello. It will have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, along with a nice kitchen and just enough storage to live with. This will be a good first place to live after college at the age of 22 because it won’t be too big and it will also be cheap. This apartment fits almost all my needs, except it won’t have the love and belonging that I am looking for.

Middle Years
Family Home in Monticello
This is a 4 bedroom and 3 bath house, with lots of room which will be great for when I want to start a family. This home will fit me well at the age of 27 and will have lots of room for the kids. This house will have everything that I am looking for physically and psychologically.

Senior Years
Smaller House in Monticello
This is a smaller house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bath, which will be good for when I downsize because of my older age. I will be 60 years old and this house will fit my age because I don’t want it to be too big, when it gets harder to move because of my older age. This house will have most of my needs except for maybe creativity which isn’t that big of a deal, but over all this is a nice small house.
